View from Karlsbrücke. A quiet place, only a stone's throw away from the shopping streets and cafes and tourist attractions of the old town. The water is the river Pegnitz, which divides the historical city into a northern ("Sebaldstadt", named after its main church, St. Sebald) and a southern part ("Lorenzstadt" after St. Lorenz).
