Outside there's still not the right weather and no light for new pictures, so here's another one from the archives: Henkersteg, a small pedestrian bridge over the Pegnitz, between Unschlittplatz and Trödelmarkt.
I love the old wood! And it looks very well-maintained. Hope you get good weather soon! -- Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.
Kris: according to Wikipedia, the first bridge in that place was built in 1457, then the Henkersteg in its current form was built in 1595, damaged in WWII and reconstructed in 1954. Like many buildings in Nuremberg it is young in its present incarnation but old in spirit...
all: thanks for your kind words, I'm glad you like the pictures!
This blog is inspired by City Daily Photo, where you find photo blogs from all around the world. All pictures taken with a Kodak M753 or a Sony Ericsson k800i (which should explain the picture quality in case you were wondering ;-) ).

I hope it's a bridge over peaceful waters :)
Looks very peaceful! Nice shot!
I wonder how old this bridge is...
I long for spring too. Cool image, great perspective.
