Nuremberg is proud of its three (!) metro lines, and public transport really is very good here, as in most german cities. This map of the network shows how small the city and the transport network really is. If you want real urban thrill, maybe it's better to look elsewhere...

It must be good, whenever we have a discussion on public transport here in Hobart, I say “well, go and look at Nürnberg, they know how to do it!”
